What is Mission
Mission is one of the components of At Your Word, Lord process of spiritual and pastoral renewal.
A Mission is a parish wide event of prayer, reflection, reconciliation and sharing that set the stage for the At Your World, Lord process. It provides an opportunity for the parish, in our case the Chaplaincy to reflect together on subjects pertinent to the lives of people of all ages. The Mission will focus on critical questions of spiritual meaning in our lives today as well as on ways in which we are challenged to rediscover that which is sacred.
Particular attention will be given to strengthen family life and encouraging supportive relationships. There will also be exploration of the need we have as individuals for reconciliation. The Mission will offer a prayerful opportunity to reflect on our spiritual journey. It is meant to create an environment of prayer and reflection with a focus on reconciliation with our God, reconciliation with our brothers and sisters and reconciliation with oneself.
